One of my favorite things to do is open a bottle of wine, cuddle up in bed, and watch a romantic movie, but this often leads to tears and bad feelings. Get a group of friends to watch these movies with so if you’re really feeling bad, you can cry in each others shoulders. And skip the wine. It’s for your own good. Chivalry is not dead, but sometimes it just takes a lady to make the first move. Have you ever been out alone or with girlfriends and found someone attractive but are not too sure how to show interest? Here are a couple of ideas to help you capture that certain someones’ eye while keeping your femininity. First and foremost, do not doubt yourself! You may be looking at someone wondering how you can get their attention. Do not over think the situation. If you think he is cute make eye contact and try to hold his gaze. This will show him that you are interested in pursuing more. If you are in a peculiar spot and can’t seem to get his attention with your eyes then it is time to take charge and start talking. With that being said, do not let your friends get you into a situation that you would rather not be in either. Girlfriends that are already in relationships love to try and “set up” their friends, but their judgement could be a little skewed and too pushy. This in turn can make you more nervous than you are to begin with. So relax and remember that no matter what happens it is always worth at least attempting. The worst that can happen is that he is already in a relationship and if that is the case then carry on, keep your head high. However, it is far more often that he will think you are a very intriguing and confident woman for approaching him first. And what woman does not like a bit of control? The ball is in your court. So embrace that inner goddess! Be striking, confident and go for it! There is no harm in trying.
