But now, the thing I discovered yesterday, what matters the most is the emotional state you are in. You are happy, you might even forget about porn or busting a nut, even if you’re working in front of your pc whole day, whereas where you are sad/disturbed/stressed even uncertain about something in the future, it influences your ability to abstain (in a bad way), and thought of just peeking at porn comes to your mind. And then you do, and then you bust a nut, feel better for the moment, yet worse overall. It’s like a vicious cycle, and I am sure some person has said these exact words before in the above comments, but it might not be from the emotional perspective.

It might be one thing to read about different experiences, ideas, etc. but your own experience is always different and stays with you, just as a saying goes, you can try to learn from others’ mistakes, but you’ll never learn from theirs as you’ll learn from yours. Yesterday I was about to do something silly, but this thing dawned on me, and I am a happy person now once again :-)
