doting Verb: Be extremely and uncritically fond of: “she doted on her two young children”; “she was spoiled outrageously by her doting father”.

dotage Noun: The period of life in which a person is old and weak: “you could live here and look after me in my dotage”. The state of having the intellect impaired, esp. through old age; senility.
