In this phase you will develop the structural tolerance so that massive strength, power, and vertical improvements can be safely developed. I know what you are thinking, this phase sounds easy and boring…. Wrong! In this phase you will notice that your strength, and movement quality will improve each week. This will already have you jumping HIGHER!STAGE 2MAXIMIZING YOUR STRENGTH INTELLIGENTLYAfter you have bulletproofed your body we will increase the complexity of your exercises and get STRONGER (intelligently). If you are weak, you are limited to how much harder you can hit or how high you can jump. We will focus on the BEST strength exercises for YOU based on your training level, goals, and results from your prior workouts. There is also an emphasis on improving your approach/jump technique and your defensive movements through volleyball specific exercises/drills. Not only will you be getting stronger but your volleyball specific movement patterns will improve.STAGE 3AMPLIFYNG YOUR SPEED/POWERIn all stages of training there is speed/power exercises. However in this phase it takes a much greater priority. Layering on speed/power drills on top of your already improved strength, jumptechnique, and overall movement quality will have you destroying balls.All workout programs all assembled into 4 to 5 week training phases and structured to compliment your practice/competition schedule.
