It is configured to perform as a chipshooter (SM41), or as a flexible mounter with an SM+ for progressive-build capability. The DECAN F2 also offers conveyor modularity so manufacturers can cost-effectively address changes in production volumes with single or dual lane processing.For example, this particular line is capable of processing a 4 ft board in a dual-rail configuration with 28 second cycle times. This is possible because the line is set up with a buffer and kitting station on one side, then the SM41 chipshooter with the SM45 odd-form placement. The DECAN then builds the boards using progressive-build. When a job requires more feeders than the capacity of the line, operators can quickly swap out a feeder cart offline without bringing the machines down.All of the equipment is supported by Saki’s predictive and preventive maintenance management system which monitors all key components, records a detailed diagnostic log and provides alerts for a proactive approach to maintaining stable performance and eliminating downtime and unscheduled maintenance.
